If you know ISTE members who may not have seen my candidature, please share this poster with them.
To contribute constructively to ISTE and strengthen the connection between the Society and its members.
I am honoured to contest for election to the Executive Council of ISTE from the Tamil Nadu Section for the term 2027–2031.
As an academician working in teaching, research, academic administration and institutional development, I have had the opportunity to work closely with students and faculty and to understand the aspirations of institutions across different settings.
Coming from a rural region, I particularly value the contribution of institutions beyond major academic centres. I would like to bring this broader perspective to the National Executive Council.
My campaign is built around four simple ideas.
More active engagement among members, Sections and Chapters.
Greater recognition of institutions and educators across regions.
Better communication and stronger connection with members.
Greater focus on innovation, emerging technologies and changing industry needs.
Areas where I would like to contribute if elected.
Stronger communication, active participation and a more responsive ISTE.
Accessible FDPs, workshops, training programmes and professional growth opportunities.
Encouraging innovation, entrepreneurship, mentoring and student participation.
A stronger voice for institutions beyond major cities, including rural and semi-urban regions.
Promoting research translation, innovation and startup-oriented initiatives.
Building meaningful collaboration among educational institutions, industry, government and society.
